Terms and Conditions and Conditions for Instructor Training (Recognised Delivery Centre)

L2 & L3 Awards in Cycle Training are delivered by Cycle Confident and BikeRight! which are part of the Be Confident Group who are a RDC and regulated by 1^st4sport.

Payment in full is due at time of registration. I understand that the Recognised Delivery Centre (RDC) reserves the right to cancel my registration at any time if payment has not been made in full.

I will notify the RDC in writing if I cannot attend the training.

If the RDC receives notice 28 days prior to before the start date of the training, I will receive a full refund of the course fee.

If the RDC receives notice between 7 and 28 days prior to the start date of the training, I will not receive a refund but may be given the opportunity to transfer the booking to the same training on a different date.

If Cycle Confident Ltd receives notification within 7 days prior to the start of the training, Cycle Confident Ltd will not refund the course fees and I will not be allowed to transfer the booking to the same course on a different date.

Cycle Confident Ltd reserves the right to alter published programmes, trainings, fees or venues without prior notice. In the event of a course being cancelled by Cycle Confident Ltd, a refund of the course fee will be made but no compensation will be paid for any additional costs incurred.

I understand that completing the course does not guarantee that I will be offered work as a cycling instructor for Cycle Confident Ltd or other cycle training organisations.

It is my responsibility to bring a cycle to the training session and to ensure that it is roadworthy. If in any doubt concerning this, I will consult a qualified cycle mechanic prior to the training.

I accept that the instructor(s) may at any time refuse to continue to train me if my behaviour or ability level is deemed to be unsuitable. If I am dismissed from the training for these reasons, I understand that Cycle Confident Ltd will not refund my course fee.

I undertake to make the instructors aware of any medical condition I have which may adversely affect the training.

I undertake to wear suitable clothing for the prevailing weather conditions expected during my training. In winter, this may include gloves, warm shoes, and a warm coat. Tight fitting trousers are not recommended.

I am responsible for the decision to wear a helmet during the training.

If I wear a helmet it is must fit properly.

I am responsible for any injury that may occur as a consequence of wearing or not wearing a helmet.

If I do decide to wear a cycle helmet it will conform to one of the following standards. BS6863, AS2063.86, ANSIZ90.4, SNELL B90 or B95.

I understand personal belongings are brought to the training session or event at my own risk.

I understand that if bad weather prevents the lesson taking place Cycle Confident Ltd may reschedule at no further cost.

I understand that occasionally it may be necessary to take images of those participating in cycle training or cycling event and that they may be used for publicity purposes, otherwise, I shall inform Cycle Confident if I am not comfortable being photographed.

I understand that Cycle Confident Ltd is not responsible for any illness, injury or loss or damage to any property not caused by an instructor's negligence.

Cycle Confident Ltd takes no responsibility whatsoever for any injury or any loss or damage to any property which occurs either on the way to or from a training or subsequent to trainings.

Instructors are not at liberty to amend the terms of this consent form.

I understand this consent form must be accepted before a training session commences and that a training session cannot take place if these terms and conditions are not agreed too. This consent form applies to any instructor training organised by Cycle Confident Ltd.
