This full-day course is designed for cyclists looking to learn about their bikes and be able to do basic roadside repairs:

Cleaning and lubricating
How to set your bike up so it fits
Remove wheels, tyres and tubes
Mend a puncture
Adjust brakes
Adjust gears
Fit brake pads - rim or disc

This full-day course is designed for home mechanic who wish to take their knowledge a step further:
Fit brake pads - rim or disc
Fit a new inner and outer brake cable
Rear gears, indexing and learn how to fit a new cable
Set up front gears
Size and fit a new chain
Fit a new cassette/freewheel
Change chainrings
Learn about bottom brackets and how to change them.

Any minor adjustments we can make to the bike we do there and then. Anything we can't we will let you know exactly what needs doing and a rough guide to what it should cost at a bike shop.
