Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training
Be Confident Group is a Recognised Delivery Centre with 1st4sport and along with the Bikeability Trust is working towards consistent training provision across the whole country. Developed in partnership with The Bikeability Trust, the 1st4sport Level 2 Award in Instructing Cycle Training (L2AICT) is designed to prepare learners to provide National Standard Cycle Training.
With this qualification you will be able to deliver not only Bikeability training in schools but also a wide range of other cycle training services. This is an Ofqual regulated course that can lead to further qualifications as your career progresses.
The L2AICT combines online learning, classroom and practical elements, with support from fully qualified and experienced tutors.
Be Confident Group courses run for 10 days and include all relevant CPD, such as first aid training, safeguarding certification, bike maintenance, other Bikeability modules and SEND.
1st4sport is an Industry Specialist Recognised Awarding Organisation offering sector-specific qualifications, pathways, and a range of relevant high-performing educational services; underpinned by leading digital solutions.
Provisionally qualified instructors working for us will also receive regular mentoring sessions and Internal Quality Assurance support in preparation for final assessment.
