Family Group Cycle Training

This course is aimed for children and adults who are currently able to ride a bicycle. This session takes place in an off-road venue in small groups and is perfect for you or your child to learn basic bike control skills.

On this course children will learn how to:

• Prepare themselves for a journey
• Check the cycle is ready for a journey
• Set off, pedal, slow down and stop
• Pedal (including looking behind, cycling one handed, turning and controlling speed)

Do bring your own bicycles and helmets if you can as you and the child will be more used to his/her own equipment. Full size and small bicycles and helmets are in limited numbers to borrow.

Please arrive early so we can start cycling promptly!
