Children's On-Road Group Cycle Training


Children's on-road Bikeability cycle training for age 9 years and over. Classes consist of three afternoons of training. Trainees will build on their existing knowledge by learning more advanced cycling techniques and road skills. This may include riding in traffic, negotiating junctions, and understanding more complex road scenarios.The aim is to get trainees more comfortable and confident in real-world road conditions.

COURSE TIMES ARE 12.30- 14.30 BUT PLEASE ARRIVE FOR REGISTRATION BY 12.15. COLLECTION IS AT 14.30 PROMPT.

Please ensure your child can attend the full 3-day course before booking. If your child does not have a bike then please notfiy us on the consent form and we can arrange for one to be borrowed. Cycle helmets must be worn. CHILDREN MUST BE ABLE TO RIDE CONFIDENTLY WITHOUT STABILISERS (if not, please see our Complete Beginner and Improver courses). Places are available on a first come first served basis and there are up to ten places in a group.

On day 1 we complete Level 1 training off-road. On days 2 & 3 the group is then taken out on to quiet local roads (provided all are ready) with 2 qualified instructors in order to complete Level 2 training.
