Level 1 

This course is aimed for children who are currently able to ride a bicycle. This session takes place in an off-road venue in small groups and is perfect for your child to learn basic bike control skills.

On this course children will learn how to:

• Prepare themselves for a journey
• Check the cycle is ready for a journey
• Set off, pedal, slow down and stop
• Pedal (including looking behind, cycling one handed, turning and controlling speed)

Do bring your own bicycles and helmets if you can as the child will be more used to his/her own equipment. Bicycles and helmets will be in limited numbers to borrow.

Please arrive early so we can start cycling promptly!
